Hi guys,
Our SYF experience has ended with a respectable SIlver but our journey as the batch of 2010-2011 is far from over. Since last year, I’ve always been unsure of what I really want people to remember our batch for. The obvious answer was that we kicked ass at SYF. However, I’ve realized that what’s even more important than that is our spirit as an ensemble. The true measure of our worth is how we can overcome obstacles together no matter what. I want people to remember us for never losing faith in each other; for coming back stronger after every disappointment; and for always being optimistic. Think about all the times spent together with your fellow ensemble mates. We have one final show before we step down and let’s end with a bang. While it’s not going to be easy, given the time left before next week’s concert, it’s apt that the highlight of our experience together be something that we enjoy. We’ve come this far together and let’s not be disheartened by setbacks. How we proceed from here will determine our legacy and we’re gonna do this with our heads held high=)
