Although there’s nothing special to bring to the camp, but just to prevent someone from forgetting something important, here is the packing list. Please do not bring too many valuables too.
1. Clothes to last you 3 days and 2 night. (At least 3 sets of school pants/skirts and college based t-shirts for ensemble practice sessions or you can wear the same shirt for 2 days, but it is strongly discouraged)
2. Handphone with charger (and preferably plug extension) can be used only in case you’re locked up in some room, not allowed to use during practice
3. Toiletries ( toothbrush, toothpaste, soap etc )
4. Towel
5. Sleeping bag
6. Slippers AND shoes
7. Guitar
8. Torchlight (optional)
Some tips: Bring some coins, the vending machine will always be there for you but the drink stall auntie won’t.
Thanks,
Jetanat

yo peeps,
hey guys this is for everybody involved in syf. we skipped two wednesdays for soundcheck and syf. so on the capers form, fill in the lessons u’ve missed on those days. then fill in what u need to catch up on, and during the capers session go study that, and provide evidence that u did (kinda lame but just do it). for consultations, if u need them go to your tutors at your own time. if u don’t must get tutors to sign for exemption. meet y’all at the void deck 4 00pm tomorrow to take attendance. the session will last two hours and there will also be attendance taking at the end of the session. seeya
thanks

yes. our last ever performance in possibly our entire lives. our journey as an ensemble is coming to a close. in light of all these depressing perspectives, let’s just make the best of our last day together..work hard, play hard and make it a night to remember! (i’d post the hsm vid here if i knew how to hahaha)
i know the past week has been tiring and draining(especially after syf) so i’d like to thank you all for faithfully coming for all your practices and sectionals..and practising at home(i hope!)
ok main point. here are the main plans for OUR big day (hee:D) im getting yiteng to print them out, so you all can refer to it on sat itself.but yeah to help you (mentally) prepare yourself for one crazy day, here goes! the concert plan has been updated from the one you were given, but in terms of order of performance it’s still the same.
see you!!

-final curtain call-
firstly, i’d appreciate it if no one asks me to change the order of performances, mainly cos we’ve printed the programme booklets!
secondly, i know syf was disappointing(to say the least) and that’s why we have to treasure our last few days left as an ensem, and work hard TOGETHER to make this last performance a night to remember and be proud of. we have many small group items to show our individual strengths as guitar players, but don’t get complacent with the ensem pieces. they’ll be the performances that define us as ACGE 2010-2011. this night will be how our juniors will remember us for the rest of their year and a half in ac(at least..). i remember how as the main ensem last year we learnt pirates in 2 weeks? the performance was quite a mess(technically speaking), but it felt awesome, because we played together with all our heart and soul. i don’t really remember most of the performances, but that performance of pirates has stuck with me through the past one year, and i want all of us to have at least one performance that will stick with us for possibly, the rest of our lives. and that will be the best gift you can give each other and yourself as you leave acge.
in the words of switchfoot:
If we’ve only got one try, If we’ve only got one life…
I wanna burn out bright.
esther:)
